The 25th Anniversary of the Equasis website, which was launched on 17 May 2000, was celebrated on 5-6 June in Paris. The event brought together over 50 representatives from the Equasis community, including data providers, users, and contributing States.

Participants engaged in open and constructive discussions focused on the strategic roadmap for the next five years and the broader future of the project. Central to the conversations were the enduring values of transparency, accessibility, and the reliability of maritime data.

The Equasis Management Unit (MU) and Technical Unit (TU), represented by the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) and the French Directorate for Maritime Affairs, extend their sincere gratitude to all who contributed to this milestone celebration and continue to support the mission of Equasis.
