Xt-EHR Joint Action: Exploring what education’s available in European medical schools on European health records

Many students and healthcare professionals have limited exposure to education on the use of electronic health records (EHRs).

A survey conducted by the Xt-EHR Joint Action is aiming to assess the status quo of digital health and EHR education in Medical Curricula in Europe from the perspective of both students and educators.

Digital Health Technology Assessment: EHTEL outlines a range of tools

On 26 March, 2025, the EDiHTA project took part in a shared learning webinar on Digital Health Technology Assessment & System Transformation. The event was organised by Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) as part of its series of Shared Learning Events. The event was held in collaboration with EHTEL.

MyHealth@MyHands: the EHDS implementation initiative is launched

EHTEL warmly welcomes the start of the implementation initiative, MyHealth@MyHands, which was launched on 1 April 2025. The project is a sister project to i2X. EHTEL is an associated partner in this project, and will support it by connecting the project consortium to the EHTEL network. The association is proud to have two EHTEL members who contribute to the project: Andaman7 and MZCR.

i2X: A new implementation initiative describes its main activities

The i2X – Intelligent Implementations of the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF) project is funded by the Digital Europe Programme. It kicked off officially on April 1, 2025. On the day of its launch, it made public its key activities. EHTEL is proud to have two EHTEL members who contribute to the project: Tic Salut Social and CHU Liège.

EHTEL focuses on how health and care systems can use digital technologies to contribute to people's better health. With this goal in mind, we add our support to Lovexair, one of our members, in encouraging as many people as possible to provide data in support of public health research, more specifically to a global lung health map.
