A. H. Lubell Electromechanical Transducer
An electromechanical transducer having broad band audio response for use as an underwater loudspeaker. The transducer includes an open-ended hollow piston having an electromechanical driving element positioned longitudinally an in the interior of the piston with one end of the element rigidly supported and the other end being substantially unsupported and in contact with a compliance element on the inner end of the piston.
